GENOCIDE

The term "genocide" was coined in 1944 by Polish-Jewish lawyer Raphael Lemkin. He combined the Greek word "genos" (meaning race or tribe) with the Latin suffix "cide" (meaning killing). Lemkin used the term to describe the systematic destruction of groups, particularly during the Holocaust.

The book of Revelation picks up on the book of Daniel predicting the Genocide of God's people who keep the Commandments of God and have the Testimony of Jesus - Daniel 7:25, Revelation 12:17 and 13:7, 15

Before we take a deep dive into Genocide and the Book of Revelation let us backtrack into the Old Testament and take a look at a TYPE* of the Genocidal intent in the Persian Empire during the time of Queen Esther. The event in the Book of Esther is a type of what will happen in our day as predicted in Revelation chapter 13.  Be prepared to be shaken to the core in your beliefs regardless of what religious persuasion you belong to.

TYPE & ANTITYPE

*In the Bible, a "type" is a person, event, or object in the Old Testament that foreshadows something in the New Testament. An "antitype" is the fulfillment or reality that corresponds to the type. Essentially, a "type" is a preview, and the "antitype" is the actual event or person that fulfills the preview.

THE QUESTION IS ASKED

Psalm 94:20

"Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?"

And the answer is returned:

Psalm 94:21-23

"They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off."

GENOCIDE IN THE BOOK OF DANIEL

Revelation 12:17 in symbolic language outlines the following:

"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Allowing the Bible to interpret itself:

  • The  Dragon is that old serpent, the devil and satan - verse 9.

  • The woman is the true Christian church

  • The seed of the woman is Jesus

  • The remnant of her seed is the true Christian church

  • The church are those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus

  • This means all Ten Commandments including the Seventh Day Sabbath.

  • Hence the devil has a particular interest in this group of Christians & will vent his fury upon them.

The scripture teaches that the Christian is in a spiritual war.

Although spiritual, this war is played out with real people, systems, powers and nations.

Therefore, it is predicted that Satan will work through Governmental powers to effect this religious genocide.

Gregory Stanton an expert on genocide cites ten stages of genocide of a race, or group of people.

  1. CLASSIFICATION

  2. SYMBOLIZATION

  3. DISCRIMINATION

  4. DEHUMANIZATION

  5. ORGANIZATION

  6. POLARIZATION

  7. PREPARATION

  8. PERSECUTION

  9. EXTERMINATION

  10. DENIAL
